Reflexology is a non-invasive, holistic, massage therapy, where pressure is applied to the feet, face and/or hands.

The therapy is based on the theory that different points on the feet, face and hands correlate to other parts of the body through the nervous system and meridians.

Each reflexology treatment is tailored to the individual’s needs, with the aim to restore the body's natural balance and promote an enhanced feeling of physical and mental wellbeing. Reflexology is an amazing therapy which can help to calm the ‘fight or flight’ stress response, promote better quality sleep, and reduce anxiety; as well as helping with a range of both physical and mental conditions. Reflexology can help with specific symptoms and with regular treatments can help your body to sustain optimum health. A reflexology treatment can help to improve circulation, lymphatic drainage, balance the central nervous system and boost the immune system.

REFLEXOLOGY

Foot Reflexology

Foot reflexology is an ancient healing technique, and a form of massage therapy that applies pressure on specific areas on the feet.

During a foot reflexology treatment, the feet will be cleansed and a reflexology balm will be applied. Thumb, finger and hand massage techniques are used to help calm the nervous system and bring the body back to balance. Foot reflexology can help to aid medical issues such as pregnancy symptoms, infertility, menstruation, menopause, insomnia, joint pain, back pain, anxiety, stress, depression, hormone imbalance, digestion and arthritis.

  • £50 for an hour or combine with facial reflexology, hand reflexology, Indian head massage and/or swedish massage, £70 for a 90-minute treatment.

Facial Reflexology (Bergman Method)

Facial reflexology (Bergman Method) is based on the same Zone theory as foot reflexology, where points on the face corelate to other parts of the body through the nervous system and meridians.

At the beginning of the treatment, the face will be cleansed and a serum applied. During a facial reflexology treatment, light pressure is applied to the face which will help to bring the body back to balance. A treatment will include a scalp massage to help you truly switch off and relax. Facial reflexology benefits can include relief from tinnitus, reduce bruxism (teeth grinding), headache and migraine relief, promotes lymphatic drainage, balance chakras, promote hair growth, improved sleep, reduce sinus congestion, improve mental wellbeing, and can help aid the recovery from Bell’s Palsy.

  • Please note: If you have received botox or facial fillers, you must wait 3 weeks before having a facial reflexology treatment. If you have undergone face Lift surgery, a treatment cannot go ahead until 3 months after the operation and 6 months if there have been any complications and/or infection.
